Target practice with fence light
Full on day today, from watching Reuben at school on the monitors alongside Callum, bumping into old friends from UCLA school who've now transitioned to Reuben's school, to a good library morning with Callum, then speech and physical therapy for Reuben.
I sported my camera and some lenses around all day, only to not bother using them, but quickly captured this on his first attempt. Sometimes you've just gotta grab what's there in front of you, and when you do, keep your camera on RAW which helps you apologise for when you don't have time to reset for the moment and take your aim. Just glad I did, because yet again, I'm so delighted how Reuben takes on everything thought out of his grasp.
A wee while back, I publicised an upcoming shoot out event I'm hosting to celebrate motherhood and I'm delighted there are now a group of photographers, mothers and hair & makeup artists who will be involved in the shoot. The concept is to honour Mother's Day, held here in the USA in May, and get to the heart and soul of the woman and all her beauty. Kids most definitely are not invited!
