Too Dirty To Live Here

This is the staircase of my clients who are being evicted for having dirty stairs. They have lived here for more than three years. They have two little kids. Yes, their stairs are dirty. So what. This is what I fight about at work. I came over to actually witness the stairs because my client has such anxiety over the possibility of losing her home, I tried to reassure her. We will fight for the right to have dirty stairs. And promise to clean them. Stupid.
