Virginia Is for Lovers (?)

This package of tourist brochures arrived in the mail today, addressed to my lovely in-house travel agent, Cynthia. If you've noticed the enticing state tourism marketing slogan, you might well be wondering about the purpose of our planned visit there in September.

Well, it's probably not what you're thinking. C has become very interested in genealogy, and wants to talk to her last surviving aunt and several cousins. We'll be staying with family, so Southern decorum will have to be observed. I'm practicing my yes ma'ams and yes sirs.

Mind you, we have three nights on the train, and two nights in Virginia hotels. It might be less decorous there.
