That time again

More exams in May. :(

Open book exams are slightly misrepresentative. The amount of material to cover in the exam means that, if you spend time opening your book for anything other than a forgotten case reference, then you are sunk.

And yet, it means that the questioner can pick up on the merest footnote in the prescribed text and expect an exhaustive answer.
