Central Park

Not New York.

Had a catch up with an old friend today.  Will have to do it again soon, as we still have a lot to cover.

Went into the city and walked down Broadway to check out a huge installation in a massive development on the site of an old brewery, which was on the edge of the CBD.

It's known as Central Park, and until it's completed there will be a succession of art works at the site, all on a grand scale.  The one behind this worker is very impressive, but it was difficult to get an angle on it, what with hoardings, trees and the sheer size of it, but there are eighteen photos of brewery workers and their families.

This chap was most obliging, and answered lots of questions. There are six hundred workers on the site and there will be eleven buildings housing two thousand apartments.  I expect the price of the apartments will be commensurate with the scale of everything else.
