In the post today

The girls have been checking the mail box every day, waiting for their bus cards. Today they arrived.

It has their names on them. It affirms their belief that they are indeed, grown up enough to take the bus to school on their own. They were so happy :)

I'm a bit more filled in from yesterday's bomb threat at the school. Some deranged individual rang the school to say they had planted a bomb in one of the classrooms. I have to commend the staff, students and police on their response and evacuation. The principal is quite upset over the whole thing. With any luck, the hoaxer will get the help he needs.
