Avoiding Carnaval Crowds

Crowds fill the street and march with bands on Sundays (around Carnaval). They sometimes set fires like this along the way.

Its very easy to get caught up in the crowds and stuck in traffic. I shot this on my way home before plotting the best route to avoid the crowds.
