Wind Generator
These seem to be cropping up all over the place. I know that some people don't like them, but I think that they are a price worth paying for the lovely wind that they generate. Yes, they do take a lot of electricity to run but where would dinghy-sailors, kite-fliers and people who like to stand on moors looking moody whilst the wind playfully tugs at their flowing locks be without them? You may have to read that sentence more than once before it makes sense.
Did you know that the peaks and troughs in wind speeds are caused when people all put their kettles on during the breaks between the entertaining adverts during Coronation Street?
