Inverness Steeple
Down the town late afternoon doing the weekly M&S grocery shop with Mrs P. Escaped briefly and got this shot of the steeple over the old tolbooth which in earlier times was used as a gaol. Foreground left is one of the ugliest buildings in Inverness - the museum and information centre. Foreground right is the Town House - quite a handsome building but this side view doesn't do it justice. The street in foreground is Castle Wynd, steeper than it seems in the image, and I had to go to the top of it to get the whole height of the steeple in the frame.
