Waste Not.....

.....Want Not.

This is not strictly waste, it is often described as a co-product. This picture is a small part of a 20 tonne heap of biscuits that are destined for animal feed.

The premises where I took this blip makes livestock feed from the waste of the food industry, as well as the biscuits there were heaps of sweets, popcorn, cake and cereals, these are ground up and mixed with wheatfeed to make a product often referred to as 'sweet starch' or 'biscuit meal' which is used as a high energy ingredient for livestock feed.
