Purple headed mountains etc ....

Not quite mountains but the West Pennine Moors 15 mins drive from my house that are a blaze of colour with purple heather at the moment. No doubt scenes like this inspired the words of the famous hymn by Cecil Francis Alexander - All things bright and beautiful. Darwen Tower is perched high above Blackburn and a popular local beauty spot.
