Kirkbrae House
Also known as Deanbrae House, this unique residence (and listed building) sits at one end of the Dean Bridge.
There's a very interesting article from The Telegraph when the property was on the market in 2002 (for a mere 975k) - I'm sure it's changed hands again since.
I didn't realise it was built over 6 levels (add The Iceberg House to it's aliases) - nor of it's origins as an Inn - but it does look like a Tollhouse of sorts. Cars, buses and lorries going past is less romantic than a horse and cart however.
