Today I stand.

I have my strength and my wits about me. Just over 3 ½ weeks ago I was laying up in the hospital. So to be here, to be alive, I'm grateful. My 3 babies are healthy [22, 15 and 13] and my granddaughter is growing - for that I'm thankful.

Daily I prepare for this adventure: life. Who knows what it will bring. But my search is on purpose. I'm looking for something; I'm after something. I'm searching for creativity that will inspire someone; that prose that will ignite someone and the compassion to help someone.

I'm standing for me. I'm standing for them. I'm standing for you.
