In the wild

The results of my first foray into pottery (or Ceramics, to be posh) ... 2 two hour sessions and I come up with a Wild Dog, or Hyena! [At one point it looked more Zebra-like]. A mix of red and white clays, to give a mottled fur effect, it was fired, glazed and fired again.

The serengeti effect was achieved by holding the piece, in my left hand, in front of my PC monitor whilst holding the camera in my right to take the shot. On-camera Flash was used, at a balanced power output to match the LCD screen brightness, to illuminate the 'beast'.
