Dirt

Tonight's dinner was pasta with roast vegetables cooked by Chris.

The surprise ingredient was 'Salsa di Tartufi Estivi' - a type of truffle pesto I think. A souvenir from bella Italia courtesy of Tash's recent trip.

I've never had truffles before, but have read that they taste very earthy or like dirt - and that's just what dinner tasted like tonight. In a good way.
