From Russia with love.

I was given this icon as a gift after my parents had collected food, clothes and medication for a poor Parish in Moscow for many years when times were very hard. Father Alexander's wife Anna gave me her own icon as we share a name and therefore a patron Saint.
I am always moved when I look at her because of the staggering generosity behind the gift and the sweetness of her face.
My Mother visited last year and Parishoners told her that times are better now, but if we were in need they would, of course, do the same for us.
