It's the little things...

... that mean the most.

Today was my birthday and after an upset last night my bf told me that he would make it up to me even though what had upset me had nothing to do with anything he had or hadn't done.
He said I deserved to be treated better and today he treated me like a princess.

He took me out for a meal so that we didn't leave mum for long but I still got a break. We went to Wales to a relaxing restaurant and we sat by the fish tank.
I enjoyed every minute. There was plenty of space and it's quiet. Just what I needed.

He bought me a lovely bunch of roses and my favourite perfume along with some silly stuff of my favourite lattes and some aqueous cream for my itchy rash from stress. lol

On the way back he stopped to get mum something to eat so I didn't have to cook anything and then when we were back home and I nipped to the loo, when I got into my room he had bought a little cake and lit three candles for me. :)

It ended up being a great day. Plus earlier today I gave mum my card to sign and left it with her and when I asked if she'd finished and saw what she'd put she had done it really well and said some lovely things.
A lot of the time it's difficult to get her to write and follow who it's for and what to roughly write but this time, all on her own she got it all right.

A gift indeed. :)
