Birthday Baking

It is my daughter's birthday on Monday.

We are having some birthday visitors tomorrow so thought it would be best to bake some celebration cakes. Her most favourite cakes are brownies so I have baked a batch of those and also a batch of red velvet cupcakes which I will ice tomorrow morning. I have purchased some piping bags and nozzles so I may have my first attempt at piping. (Part of my challenge for this year).

She didn't know that I was planning to bake so it will be a surprise.

The house smells delicious. I am sure that when she returns from her acting class she may have to sample the goods.

Hopefully a better photo tomorrow. Have had a couple of poor photo days.
