day 2 at tanda tula game lodge, limpopo province, south africa. yesterdays' image is too large to upload, so i need to wait until i'm home to crop this one and post - back blipping nightmare.

at any rate, this little guy happened upon us at the end of our morning drive. not the creature i want to most play 'chicken' with. we stopped though, and the elephant, ever the gentleman, left the road for some trees to the left of us. he then proceeded to push over trees, both as a sign of might as well as a means to drink dome water (from the roots). it's quite dry this time of year, and the rains will not be here until at least the end of september.
