Chipping Away

Still not venturing out of my neighborhood.

On one of the corner parking lots of a church, I found this wood chipper. I saw the operator sitting off to the side taking a break. I went over to him and asked if he could start it up so I could take a picture of it in action.

He said , "No."

It seems I've been running into some cantankerous people lately.

Is it me?

I took the picture of the thing anyway. It's kind of boring - would have been much cooler in action - but I have to go to a luncheon then a debate and doubt I'll have many opportunities later, so this is going to have to be it for today.

The skies have been very hazy. It's the dust. It's been very windy. We've been having high wind warnings, dust storm warnings, red flag warnings (fire danger) and all such things. Dryness and wind have obscured the views. Welcome to our Spring.
