Arduaine Gardens
Arduaine Gardens today, on the A816 about 20 miles south of Oban. Wonderful coastal garden overlooking Asknish Bay, approached via the Loch Melfort Hotel where you can have lunch with one of the most stupendous views on the west coast, towards Jura, Shuna and Scarba.
Rhododendrons and camellias are in full colour everywhere, plus lots of smaller flowers and amazing tree barks, but it was the mossy wall which seemed to typify this very moist garden, and kinda fitting for our last day. Travelling tomorrow, back soon to comment.
