Mosaic quilt

I went to the huge annual second hand book sale in Peebles today. and yes, needless to say I did buy two beautifully illustrated vintage (i.e. published in the 19th Century) books. And I also took the opportunity to have a look again at the beautiful mosaics decorating the inside of the Peebles War Memorial. So inspirational to a quilter!
