Saturday Shopping

Trip in to Lincoln with R, B & B to get clothes and boots for B to go to Nepal. This is a late suggestion by her father, so with 2 weeks to go it's a case of kitting her out fast!!!!

The sun was shining on us and we were in favour with the shopping gods, so found all the bargains in super-fast time.

I got a few things that I didn't realise I needed until I saw them....

Before all of this happened we met up with friends for coffee. This young man kept us all amused whilst he ate his way through four grated apple & carrot sandwiches. A hungry boy....

We had a less healthy option, orange and lemon cake with marzipan topping (one piece to share between two, so half the calories)!!

For P:
Before the shopping trip I tidied up the small garden. Most things are surviving, with the exception of 2 Alchemilla Mollis plants that Mr Mole has been burrowing under. May need replacing....will wait to see!
There are very few weeds, the membrane and gravel are working well, but the Spanish bluebells are a bit of a pest appearing where they shouldn't!!
