Baking

I try and batch bake to make the best use of the oven, while the fruit cake was cooking I popped in a couple of sponges , then some apricot & coconut flapjacks.
Sandwiched the sponges with fresh lemon curd. They didn't stay like the picture for very long.
The first contender was our post lady, who after being on her round for several hours by the time she reaches us is completely ravished?? ....she doesn't look that bad, ravishing??.... well she is a buxom blonde.....er ravenous..that's what I meant.
"Are they low calorie?" she asks me with a wink.
"Of course I reply", with my fingers crossed behind my back.
