Spring Clean

Early run on my own then our on the bikes this morning and grabbed a coffee then back for a spring clean, house done, car done, I was going to mow the lawn but made some soup instead.

Managed to obtain a ham on a bone, that was down to the last slices of ham when we were shopping, sliced off the good stuff for sandwiches then used the rest to knock up a stock. This made a great start for a big pan of bacon & lentil soup. Tastes great but now in the freezer to have with Gem's grandad on Wednesday. The ham only cost me £3.50 and I think I got my moneys worth!
