ruined

Popped into town today, & on the way I spied a rare simultaneous gap in both the foot traffic and the road traffic which normally mar this view of the abbey ruins; I just had time to grab the little camera which resides at the bottom of my bag, point & shoot, before it was back to situation normal with cars, coaches & pedestrians trundling past.
We found the farmers' market was on in the square, so bought a very nice rosemary & olive loaf for our lunch; also picked up a birthday card for a friend, plus a few boring necessities from Superdrug (although the purple nail varnish was neither boring nor a necessity!), & got back to the car just as it started drizzling - perfect timing for once.
