Swan
Had a lovely quiet day today with Carlos. He had a considerably longer lie than me, but he was out much later. I got a good night's sleep and was ready to get up and do some knitting whilst watching some Larkrise to Candleford - what a soothing morning.
In the afternoon Marisol picked us up so I could fetch my car from her house where I'd left it last night. Carlos and I then went to Cafe Bongio (or Cafe Bon Jovi as Noah calls it) in Inverkip for a spot of Lunner (late luch/early dinner), which was absolutely delicious.
The light was fading as we left but I managed a few photos when we pulled into Lunderston Bay on the way home. I was trying to capture a flock of black headed gulls in flight with little success, but there were also 2 swans tending to their oblutions at the water's edge who provided good blip fodder. Carlos selected this image as his favourite and decided he quite liked the pace of a blip walk and may join me more often.
We're having a nice quiet night in and the children will be home in the morning. Aren't weekends marvellous?
