Balance

When I went past Eden Park the other evening and photographed Tumatauenga, I also noted the presence of this sculpture. So this evening, on a late run to clear the head, and get a blip for the day, I went back and took this picture.

In the first Rugby World Cup, the first game was here at Eden Park, and Michael Jones scored the first try of the game, and therefore the first ever try in a Rugby World Cup tournament. Geoff Dale, a photographer for the NZ Herald (Auckland's daily newspaper), took a photograph capturing that moment, and the sculptor of this (Natalie Stamilla) based her work on that photograph.
