Sisters

My sisters (from left to right).....Norma, Rosie and Gaby.

We have always been close.....it was how we were raised however we didn't spend much time together growing up. We now get together about once a month since Mami passed away almost 2 years ago. Its not forced or expected of us....instead we plan and look forward to it. We've even started taking small road trips.

Today we had lunch and as usual we talked over one another, laughed at one another and somebody usually cries at least once. We forget we're in a restaurant and get so loud that people start staring. It's a blast.

Unexpected but pleasantly surprised, Rosie treated all of us to a massage and Gaby treated us to a mani/pedi. Totally pampered!

I'm very aware of how fortunate I am to have my sisters. They are such beautiful women and aside from us actually liking each other, our special bond is our Mother (more about Mami on another blip).

Mami would be very proud.
