Eve woke up pre-6am for the second day on the spin which was challenging but at least she was ready on time for her match this morning. The girls team only started last year and it's great to watch them get better and better with each passing week. They are still getting beaten but at least the scores are getting respectable and with a bit more experience they'll be well on their way.

Joe is always keen to come along and support his sister. Especially if he can get some shooting practice in on one of the other pitches. And he knows there's always a chance of some fizzy pop and a mars bar too.

After this it was back home for lunch, Ruby has gone back to the pitches to watch her bloke play a game and Eve has gone round to a pals house. Joe is doing his reading homework with his Mum and now I have to complete the Steak, Mushroom and ale pie that I've been working on all day on and off. Despite the fact I like cooking I have never made a proper pie before so this should be interesting.
