Have had a blip gap....again, sorry! I'm sure its going to take me years to reach 365!

Its almost 3 weeks since hubby had his second hip replacement & as it was such a lovely day we went for a walk along the beach at Druridge. The tide was a long way out & there were quite a few of these on the go (?sand yachts!). Its looks fun but as he came hurtling towards us at high speed I had my fingers crossed that he could control it! I'm still here to tell the story;-)) We walked 2 miles, so things are progressing.

We then went to pick my dad up to take him for an ice cream at another local beach, however, the sun had clearly brought out everyone & their grannies & we couldn't get parked so we continued along the coast & got parked at Tynemouth. Its years since I've had an sugar cone with icecream (monkeys blood- does anyone else call it that?) & a flake.
