Oh, Toad !

Sunny and warm, just like Summer today. My camera full of spring blossom close ups of all colours. Then, right in the middle of a path, at the top of a hill, this creature is just sitting there in the sun. So dilema, what to blip, pretty flowers or a mean looking Toad. Meet Mr Toad - It's a Common Toad: "...visits ponds and lakes to breed in spring, but at other times often found well away from water, sometimes in surprisingly dry areas..
" The nearest pond was about a mile away and a long walk for him, not sure if he was going there or just coming back.
