Half marathon

Went to cheer on the runners at the Cambridge half marathon, glorious weather, 18 degrees almost, amazing event, so many runners of all ability, serious elite runners, running clubs and those that are running in memory of a loved one, very moving. The charity was cancer research, it's the first time in 18 years Cambridge has held the event and it was really well organised. So many people took part it was a sell out and equally the same number lined the streets to cheer people on. A very well done to Juggsy, finished 4th female and won her age group and 57th out of 3000, with a cracking time of 1hr 23...phew. Oh and then we both played a game of hockey after and won 4:0, now off for a well deserved steak and beer.
