Bottoms up

Went for a walk in the Vondelpark today -- the first truly glorious spring day of the year. Families were out in force, as were the readers who could be found curled up at the base of any given tree. Actually, not a very good place to sit if you consider what else the base of those trees are used for.

This particular duck put on quite a show, diving for food while noisily defending his turf from rival ducks.
