100th BLIP!

I have made it! What a wonderful journey it has been! Blip has made me enjoy what I love to do even more, capturing my presentation and meeting interesting people.

I had so many ideas for my 100th blip, but decided on 100 pearls.
For centuries pearling was central to life in Bahrain, and to this day, Bahraini pearls have a reputation for being among the best in the world for their special lustre and sheen. This is ascribed by many to the fact that they grow at the confluence of sea water and fresh underground springs, but others believe that it is the sea's high salt content, combined with its lack of turbulence and the intense heat that produces this effect.

It is also my eldest son's birthday today and he's truly a pearl in my eyes, rare quality that is sought by so many. The yellow flower was made by my Mom to add contrast.
