The Warmth of the Sun

The warmth in the sun today made it feel very much like spring and this tree will soon be in leaf.

Went to Blackwell, an Arts & Crafts house, in Windermere. It's a gorgeous house that I could live in with the natural forms in the decoration and light muted colours. The countryside around it is stunning too.

I just sat listening to the birds, looking out over the lake with a sail boat gliding by, contemplating the beauty in nature. It reminded me of summer days by the sea.
