A whole square metre of glorious view

We're not short of good views from our house but today I opened up the mother of all views.

The last real big job that we have in renavationg our house, is the attic. Ripping out the bathroom, switching it around, putting some proper stairs up in to the attic and converting the pokey windows into something you can really see the view through.

This is the east facing window. Converted from something you can hardly poke your head out of into a whole square metre of glorious view. We're planning a window seat.

Here it is before and after. A long, hard.dirty days work. The window's in now, all weather sealed. Finished off the last few slates by torch light.
