Stained glass

The sale of my mother's house will be completed soon, and so after 55 years of living in the same house she'll be moving on, initially to stay with us. This afternoon I was collecting some more of my father's paintings - there are too many for Mum to take with her to her new house and so Linda and I have chosen a few to have here.

Realising this is the last two weeks I'll be able to visit this old house where my sister and I were born, I took several photos. I decided on this detail of the stair window. I've always loved the blue and orange border of this talk window.
