Macro test with new camera

The new camera does a reasonably good job of shooting macros, though if there's much distant background it doesn't want to focus on the closest object. I hope that isn't problematic.


I thought I'd try it out on the same primroses I shot with my new macro lens a couple weeks ago. I like the older one better, it's softer, more delicate - not that the camera necessarily is responsible for the difference.

I've had to run out in between rain/hail showers today to do various chores and to snap photos ("run out" being a relative term for me!). No more warm sunny days here for awhile.
