Pine forests in Haiti?

Yes, despite it being the case study of deforestation, Haiti does still have some amazing forests up in the hills. I love how they look in the afternoon as the mist rolls in.

I did the two day walk from Furcy to Perido this weekend, staying at Seguin overnight. The hike was much easier this time, perhaps because we had a horse join us to carry our backpacks!
