Pencil procedure anyone?

It's a measure of how painful, persistent and draining hubby's headaches are that he practically skipped into the hospital today for sinus surgery. I offered to save the NHS some money by clearing out his tubes with a couple of pencils. Hubby declined. Spoilsport.

This is the second time he's had the procedure done. The first attempt ended up with him coming home, bleeding profusely, being readmitted and enduring an overnight stay. Fingers crossed it'll go better this time. It better do, I don't want to miss my art class tonight!
