Wilberforce

Spent Saturday wandering around Hull city centre with my mum acting as the tour guide. I haven't lived there for so long it was like being a tourist! There's a lot more to look at than I remember. Some of the architecture is fabulous - both the old and the new. Had Hull not been bombed to bits during the war, it would be stunning. Easy to forget that it was once the busiest port in Europe.
The photo is of Wilberforce House. The museum here was always a favourite of mine as a kid - it's a fantastic museum, and a great legacy to a remarkable man.
