Why ... ???

This morning, we were taking Molly to the Dick Vet for a check-up. She was to be fasted, so Mrs jml took her out for a walk while prepared breakfast for Jess. In the first photo, Molly is looking at me to say that I seem to have forgotten something ... But there were no complaints: she seemed to know that today was different, and she was not going to be fed.

Jess came with us to the Hospital. They have both been here before (Molly's last time was to have 53 stitches removed, after her kidney operation) so they are each a bit apprehensive as Mrs jml takes thenm for a walk in the grounds.

During the consultation, it was decided that Molly would have a full-body scan, which needs an anaesthetic. So we left here there, and we hope to collect her tomorrow. As I write this, we are waiting for a phone call with the results of the scan.

Jess, meantime, is lost. Her first reaction was one of joy. She realised that we were leaving the hospital without having taken her in. But now she feels lonely without Molly. She just mopes around the house looking miserable. Where is she?
