Perplexing Question #3

Why would a person bid for a camera on ebay 3 times over the course of 2 days, and then, when they win the auction not pay or respond to any attempt to contact them?

What on earth possesses them to waste their own and others time, surely they have better things to do with their time than sit around bidding on items which:

a) They do not want, or
b) Cannot afford
