The house at the end of the world

Well not really but that's what it feels like! We've had really thick sea fog for 2 days now and it shows no signs of lifting. This is a view from my kitchen window. Normally you would be able to see fields, the start of the beach, part of Appledore's harbour and lots of other interesting things.

Even the birds seem unhappy at all the gloom as I've barely heard any singing at all today.

Someone send the sunshine back please! :)
