Each Monday, I do my girlfriend a favour and go straight from work to the yard where she keeps her pony. She doesn't get back from
Uni till late so I offer to help.

I'm now an expert groomsmen; putting his head collar on, picking his feet out, tying him up out of his stable, mucking him out, putting in fresh bedding, changing his rugs from his day time (turn-out) and putting his stable run on for the night, giving him his tea and bagging up his haylage ready for his breakfast in the morning, and giving the place a quick sweep up.
