What A Load Of Rubbish!

This is my picture of the day, not because of it's artistic merit, because it has none, it's blurry, but because of the sheer ridiculousness of the subject matter.

I love to smile at the kitchen "gadgets" that companies like Pampered Chef sell to people who don't cook...

A scraper to scrape things from the chopping board into the pan... ever thought of using the back of the knife you chopped with???

A strainer that fits over the top of a can.... how about straining with the lid pushed in a bit????

Or my favorite... The Panini Spatula... bwahahaaa... a fish slice? That'll do nicely!

But I digress. Today I was wandering round Target buying shrimp, fish oil pills and loo roll, when I spotted this in the "clearance" area. The ultimate in useless kitchen equipment.

Is it a fruit bowl? No. A mixing bowl. Nope. Give up? It's a Rachel Ray Garbage Bowl!!! So you can clean as you cook, beautifully and functionally, with a non-slip bottom.

Have you never heard of peeling things over the bin Rachel? Saving yourself from adding the bowl to the washing up? Thought not.

The only saving grace was that no one bought it!
