Buds and more buds

My camellia bush is overflowing with buds! The lovely warm weather recently has encouraged the first few buds to open out and it has brought on others which are now ready and waiting their turn.
The blip shows about a quarter of the bush so you can imagine the overall appearance of it!

Tomorrow is my art group's annual coffee morning and art exhibition. We all take a few tasks each to do, and one of my mine is to make up some posies, one for each table centre. I will pick the flowers from the garden tomorrow morning while they are fresh. There is a surprising amount to choose from in the garden at this time of year. The camellia's lovely dark green glossy foliage will make a good foil for some of the other spring flowers such as daffodils, pink and white heather and dark blue grape hyacinths.
