Roe deer at sunset

The deer are well camouflaged in the light of the setting sun. I saw two, but not the third until it walked over to join them.

It isn't obvious here, but the deer on the left has a broken hind leg. When I first saw her a couple of years ago, I imagined she wouldn't survive. But last year she had a fawn, and now she seems to walk without difficulty.
