Down by the Pool

The somewhat murky weather at the south end ensured that we didn't venture far in daylight hours - a visit to the Pool of Virkie did let us spend a while watching this redshank watching us.

The weather did however relent sufficiently to let Lise Sinclair and her colleagues get to the Shetland mainland from Fair Isle so that we were able to get to the concert that got postponed yesterday. Very good it was too - interesting mix of Shetland, Orkney and Icelandic cultures....
